A: Concerns surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak, the state of national emergency declared by the Administration, and the state of California’s ban on gatherings of 250 people or more. As you may expect, we have received feedback from our community and from many of you, have monitored the coronavirus situation in the US, and understand the risk far outweighs the benefits of having these gatherings in April as planned.
Q: What is your refund policy?
A: Your 2020 Summit and Confab registration fees will be credited toward the rescheduled 2020 Summit and Confab, the dates of which we hope to announce in the coming weeks. If you are unable to join us for the 2020 gathering, you can apply your credit toward the Summit and Confab in 2021, 2022 or 2023 as you choose.
Q: Why are you changing your original refund policy?
A: While our original refund policy offers no refund option after March 5, 2020, we decided to credit fees to future events because of the emergency circumstances and the loyalty of our community.

A: Yes, as we develop a plan for later 2020 gatherings, your credit will be honored.
Q: Can I get credit to my 2021 registration?
A: Your 2020 Summit and Confab registration fees can be credited toward the 2021 Summit and Confab.
Q: When and where will the 2021 Summit and Confab be?
A: The 2021 Summit will take place April 14-16, 2021, and the Confab on April 13, 2021, at the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel.
Q: What if I cannot attend the 2021 Summit or Confab?
A: Health Evolution will credit your 2020 Summit or Confab registration fee for either the 2021, 2022 or 2023 Summit.
Q: Will you cancel my hotel?
A: If you reserved a room in our block at the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, Monarch Beach Resort, or Laguna Cliffs Marriott, we will cancel your reservation. Look for your room cancellation email. If you booked outside the Health Evolution room block or with another hotel, please cancel directly with the hotel.
Q: I never received my cancellation confirmation email from my hotel – who do I contact to confirm?
A: If you have not received your cancellation email, please reach out to the hotel directly to reconfirm your reservation cancellation.
Q: When will we know the new date?
A: The Health Evolution team is working with our contacts in Laguna to determine dates for the rescheduled 2020 Summit and Confab. As soon as we have the logistics confirmed we will contact you via email.
Q: Will the new 2020 Summit and Confab be at the same location?
A: We will announce the date and location as soon as we can.
Q: How will you be communicating the new date?
A: We will send an email to all those registered for the 2020 Summit with the new date, and you can expect updates on our website.
Q: What are the virtual gatherings Health Evolution is hosting?
A: At the heart of our mission, Health Evolution informs and connects health care leaders to solve our greatest challenges. We’re planning to stay true to that mission with two virtual gatherings. The Executive Briefing on AI & ML has been converted to a webcast which will be held during its originally scheduled time, Wednesday, April 1 from 8am–12pm PT. The Pandemic Response: A Public-Private Call to Action webcast will be held during the originally scheduled Summit hours, on Thursday, April 2 from 8am–12pm PT.
Q: How can I view the two virtual gatherings?
A: We will be in communication next week with details for the virtual gatherings on April 1 and April 2.
