The Institute is an executive development program for a select cross-sector group of the industry’s highest potential leaders. The Institute will equip these leaders, who are creating and transforming health care in today’s uncommonly uncertain times, with the network, mindset and skills necessary to lead health care into the future.

For a decade, Health Evolution has convened the nation’s senior health care leaders, creating settings and forums to address critical issues, advance thinking and stay connected. We bring one of the world’s most experienced cross-sector community of experienced CEOs, advisors and discussion leaders to the table.
Participants will be change agents pushing to the highest levels in their organizations. They are among the key leaders considered critical for their organizations’ future, and are a part of the organization’s succession plan. They represent all key segments in health care–providers, payers, life science, innovators and investors.
Those interested must complete an application and provide a reference from their CEO; participants from technology companies who are CEOs do not require a reference.
Integrating the most critical health care issues with leadership advancement, Health Evolution’s Institute offers over 65 hours of learning and connecting with the nation’s foremost leaders.

Broaden their ability to assess and continually reassess strategies and innovation using a multi-sector lens
Augment their leadership experience through conversations with numerous deeply experienced CEOs
Gain insight into managing their own personal leadership journey and competencies
Develop a close national network of tomorrow’s health care leaders

The 2018/2019 class has reached capacity.
Participation requires an endorsement from your CEO. If you were nominated by your CEO or if you are a CEO, endorsement is assumed (see application page). If you were not, please have your CEO fill out the online endorsement form (completion time: 5 min).
Notification of Acceptance:
We are sensitive to your need to know your admission status and try our best to balance that with our admission process. At the latest, you will hear back three weeks after submitting a complete application. We will continue to accept applications until we have reached capacity.
The cost is reduced for this Founding Class from $20,000 to $14,000 to recognize the impact this first class will have on the ongoing experience. Upon acceptance, payment details will follow.

Institute participants will gather in Philadelphia at the Ritz-Carlton and other nearby venues to dive deep into critical leadership issues, advance key competencies and build the foundation for a lasting and powerful network of the industry’s senior leaders.
April 10-12, 2019 – Dana Point, CA
We will convene again in Dana Point, CA at the Monarch Beach Resort and the nearby Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Nigel to experience a unique cross-event agenda giving Institute participants the opportunity to join select experiences at our Summit.This gathering will feature intimate small-group, conversations with CEOs and discussion leaders from our Summit community.
The CEO has to be relentless about culture. Relentless.
If I have one regret, it’s that I’m not 10 years younger. Because if I were, I could participate in the next exciting 10 years in health care.
I think all leaders, even when you’re a CEO, need someone to talk to, and you should look for a mentor and safe place.
How many of you actually want to be managed? People want to be led, not managed. They want you to inspire them, train them, give positive advice. They want you to self-reflect. They don’t want you to manage them.
