Nicole Garratt

Chief Strategy Officer

Nicole Garratt has over 15 years of strategic planning, research, product development, management, marketing, and business development expertise in the health care vertical. Currently, Nicole is serving as the chief strategy officer for the Health Evolution Summit. The Summit anchors an extensive network of CEOs and commercial leaders across the health industry. Founded by Health Evolution Partners, the Summit serves as a central place to trade industry ideas, share advice, form partnerships and execute deals that will shape health care in the future. As chief strategy officer, Nicole drives the content strategy for the Summit by researching emerging business models in health and by working with thought leaders to deliver a compelling agenda. She also curates new partnerships, sponsorship relationships and CEO participation from a broad range of health sectors.

Previously Nicole launched the inaugural World Health Care Congress (WHCC) in 2004, a prestigious annual conference convening over 2,000 business and healthcare leaders to address solutions to the challenges of cost, quality and access in health care. She served as its president from 2005 – 2012 and managed content development, marketing and PR, sponsorship, and operations. During this time, she also developed and launched global events including the WHCC – Europe and WHCC – Latin America. In addition, Nicole started the World Congress Leadership Summit division that launched a series of targeted healthcare events.

Nicole’s prior experience included working with start up companies in the San Francisco Bay Area in which she developed business strategies, formed partnerships and led channel sales. Prior to her entrepreneurial experience, Nicole spent four years with the Institute for International Research leading their new products division. As a division manager, she was responsible for developing business plans and managing a team to grow six business units in health care.

Nicole graduated from The University of Michigan School of Business Administration with a BBA and graduated magna cum laude from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College with her MBA.
