Bob Segert joined Virence Health Technologies as Chairman and CEO on September 10, 2018. As Virence’s leader, Bob is guiding the company’s efforts to deliver innovative software and services that positively impact the most vital needs of healthcare.

Bob has over 20 years of leadership experience in the software & IT services industry, spanning across sales, marketing, corporate strategy, M&A, operations and general management. In addition, he brings deep expertise and a successful track-record in transforming private equity-backed software platforms into market leaders by focusing on delivering outstanding customer outcomes.

Prior to joining Virence, he served as Executive Chairman of Aspect Software, a global provider of contact center and workforce optimization software and solutions. Immediately prior to Aspect, Bob served as President and CEO of Expert Global Solutions, growing the business to 43,000+ employees and achieving leadership positions in customer relationship management and financial business process outsourcing services. And prior to his time at Expert Global Solutions, he served as President and CEO of GXS, Inc., the world’s largest B2B cloud integration platform connecting 550,000+ businesses through a common transaction processing eco-system.

Bob holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
