Chris Michalak is a purpose-driven leader with a 30-year career in the health and human capital industry. He knows that when it comes to driving business and health outcomes, it’s all about leveraging the power of technology, data, and human connection. As executive chairman of Personify Health (created from the merger of Virgin Pulse and HealthComp), Chris focuses on key growth initiatives that will drive continued success, including bolstering client relationships, driving corporate development, and leading the Board of Directors.

Previously CEO of Personify Health, Chris has made his mark on the industry. Prior to Personify, Chris was CEO of Alight, a $2.8 B leader in benefits, payroll, and cloud solutions serving more than 3,250 clients, including 50% of the Fortune 500. He served as the global chief commercial officer for Aon Hewitt, where he led sales operations, marketing, and account management. He was also the CEO of Buck Consultants, a global professional services and consulting firm focused on the human capital segment. Chris has extensive for-profit and non-profit board experience including board of director positions at Virgin Pulse, Alight, Buck Consultants, Chicago Cares, GENYOUth and Glidefast.

Chris earned a Master of Business Administration at Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Michigan State University. A resident of the Chicago area, he volunteers regularly and has been a member Commercial Club of Chicago, the Economic Club of Chicago, and the Executives’ Club of Chicago.
