Laura S. Kaiser is President and Chief Executive Officer of SSM Health, an $11.4 billion Catholic, not-for-profit, integrated health system serving communities across the Midwest. She brings decades of experience in health care strategy, value-based care, improving health outcomes, fueling innovation, driving performance and growth, creating partnerships and leading change while fostering a healthy and inclusive culture.

Ms. Kaiser previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Intermountain Health in Salt Lake City, Utah, and in several senior leadership roles at Ascension Health. She currently serves on several boards including the American Hospital Association, Greater St. Louis Inc., Merit Medical, Navitus Health Solutions, and the Seton Shrine National Leaders Council.

Ms. Kaiser earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Missouri, and Master of Business Administration and Master of Healthcare Administration degrees from Saint Louis University. She is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and has been named one of the “100 Most Influential People in Healthcare” by Modern Healthcare magazine for the past eight years.
