Pascale Witz

An experienced leader with nearly 30 years in the Pharma, MedTech and Diagnostics, Pascale
has a proven track record in strategically repositioning businesses, driving operations that will
deliver results and change, and recruiting and developing talent to lead a business.
Pascale held a number of executive positions at GE Healthcare during her 17-year tenure,
most recently (2009-2013) serving as President and CEO of Medical Diagnostics, a fully
integrated $2Bn pharmaceutical business (ex-Amersham Health). In 2013 she was recruited
by Sanofi to head the Pharma and Consumer Healthcare Divisions (€15bn revenues), and in
2015 became head of the Global Diabetes and Cardiovascular Businesses (€7bn revenues).
She is now advising investors and Life Sciences companies, through her consulting firm PWH
Advisors.

As a strong advocate for improving engagement of patients with chronic disease, Pascale led a
transformative new Integrated Care initiative while at Sanofi, leveraging Technology and
Digital Health to improve patient outcomes, one significant milestone being the JV of Sanofi
with Google on Diabetes, set up in February 2016.

Pascale is a Non-Executive Director of Fresenius Medical Care, the €17bn world-leader in
dialysis; Savencia, a €4.6bn food & dairy business, as well Director of the not-for-profit
Global Alzheimer Foundation Platform and the not-for-profit French American Foundation.
Her experience as a French national-level athlete has helped shape her leadership style and
contributed to her sharp focus, determination and results orientation.
