Emma Fauss, PhD, MBA, is the CEO and co-founder of Medical Informatics Corp. (MIC), a company that is using digital technology to help create a new standard of care through data.

As a thought leader in healthcare analytics, Dr. Fauss is often called upon to contribute her perspective to the growing interest in remote patient monitoring and the application of data capture, analytics, machine learning and AI in patient care. She also speaks and advises on the application of innovation to organizations across various industries. Dr. Fauss consults with and mentors early-stage entrepreneurs on business strategies and innovations, and has a passion for bringing more women into STEM fields.

Dr. Fauss received a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from The Cooper Union and a doctorate from the University of Virginia in electrical and computer engineering. She also earned a master’s degree in business administration from Rice University with a concentration in healthcare and is a fellow of the Rice Alliance.
