Bridget Blaise-Shamai

American Airlines, AAdvantage

Bridget Blaise-Shamai is vice president – Customer Insights and Loyalty and president of the
AAdvantage program. She is responsible for all aspects of the AAdvantage program, including
recognition and rewards for AAdvantage members, as well as travel and retail mileage
partnerships. She is also responsible for AAdvantage customer service, business solutions and
American Airline’s customer relationship management initiatives.

Bridget previously served as managing director – Customer Insights and Loyalty, where she led
the successful integration of US Airways Dividend Miles into the AAdvantage program, as well
as the redesign of the program. She has more than 20 years of experience with American and
has held roles in finance, revenue management, alliances, sales and loyalty. Those positions
included managing director – Merchandising and Distribution Strategy and managing director –
AAdvantage Partner Marketing, where she led a key co-brand agreement with Citi.
She serves on the Tarrant County United Way board of directors, is a mentor to American’s
GenNow employee resource group and is on the Dallas-Ft. Worth Regional Cabinet for
Washington University, St. Louis.

Bridget earned her bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University and her master’s degree from
Washington University, St. Louis.
