Stephen Greene

Chief Administrative Officer, ChenMed

Stephen Greene joined the ChenMed executive team in 2017 and has served as both the Chief Administrative Officer and Chief of Staff to the CEO. ChenMed is a senior-focused full-risk healthcare practice spanning well over 100 clinics across 15 states that is transforming care for clinically complex low- and moderate-income seniors through a high-touch relationship-based care model.

Mr. Greene’s responsibilities have included strategic planning and prioritization to improve scalability of the company, input on growth and partnerships, directing the company’s government and public policy engagement, and management of several corporate shared services functions. During his tenure, ChenMed has more than quadrupled in size, and he also helped in the formation and administration of a formal Board of Directors, the standardization of the ChenMed operating model, and co-led the company’s COVID emergency response.

Prior to joining ChenMed, Mr. Greene was the Managing Director of Special Projects for Kaiser Permanente’s Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG). While there, he launched the MAPMG brand development group, worked on telehealth and specialty management/referral initiatives, and partnered with the Kaiser health plan on regional strategy for government lines of business, product design, and sales & marketing messaging. He also served as a management consultant at McKinsey & Co. for four years.

Raised in Northern California, Mr. Greene earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Pomona College and a Master of Business Administration from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.
