Health Evolution announced a significant expansion of its Forum, with the addition of key initiatives, eight new partners, and plans to continue growing Fellowship ranks this year.

The Forum’s new initiative will convene cross-industry leaders to confront the mental and behavioral health crisis in earnest, as part of its efforts to advance a more effective, efficient and equitable health care system.

This behavioral and mental health initiative joins Forum work well underway on a host of critical topics including driving more value-based contracting, assessing new primary care and home-based care models, ensuring safeguards in leveraging AI, and reducing health disparities (see, for instance, the recently announced Health Equity Pledge).

At the upcoming 2022 Health Evolution Summit, in fact, Forum Fellows will convene in-person as a full body to discuss these initiatives and shape the agenda for the year ahead.

“Health Evolution Fellows are endeavoring to confront the most significant shared and emerging imperatives, surfacing new learnings to incorporate within their own organizations, developing consensus-based industry-wide guidance, and identifying areas for pilot programs and cross-industry collaboration,” said Richard Schwartz, President, Health Evolution.

New Partners Support Forum’s Work
To support and underwrite this important work, Health Evolution is excited to announce eight new organizations have signed on as Forum partners: AmeriHealth Caritas, Apixio, Clarify Health, League, MetaCX, NavvisPatientBond and Tomorrow Health.

They join established Forum partners, including Change Healthcare, Amwell, Chicago Pacific Founders, Landmark Health, P3 Health Partners, VillageMD, Wellbe, Welltower and WellSky.

For Paul A. Tufano, AmeriHealth Caritas Chairman & Chief Executive Officer, partnering with Health Evolution aligns with the organization’s longstanding commitment to advancing health equity. “For nearly 40 years, AmeriHealth Caritas has worked closely with our members to help them address the challenges of poverty and disability to achieve their dreams,” Tufano says. “We are proud to expand our partnership with Health Evolution as we continue to advance health equity for those most in need.”

League founder and CEO Michael Serbinis says, “We’re honored to work alongside some of health care’s most forward-thinking leaders. The digital transformation of health care is far too complex to do alone. The Health Evolution Forum will bring together a collective of people with a shared vision: health care as a personalized, omnichannel experience that drives real and meaningful change.”

Clarify Health CEO Jean Drouin, MD, adds: “The Forum brings together a unique community of leaders who are helping to shape the future of health care through candid debate, knowledge sharing and active collaboration.”

Navvis Chairman & CEO Mike Farris also highlighted the advantages of participating in the Health Evolution community. “Achieving the highest performance levels in value-based care requires an ecosystem of partners where the key stakeholders in a market come together in new and innovative ways,” Farris says. “Health Evolution serves as a critical industry Forum bringing together performance- and quality-minded health care executives, many of whom are achieving success and accelerating the transformation to risk-based care models.”

PatientBond CEO Justin Dearborn says that, “The Health Evolution Forum brings together leading experts and innovative thought leaders to help solve the toughest challenges facing healthcare. I was honored to be invited to join the Health Evolution Forum so PatientBond can contribute unique insights on motivating health care consumer behaviors and be a part of the solution to urgent imperatives.”

And MetaCX CEO & Founder Scott McCorkle adds: “Breakthrough advancements in any field require the alignment and contribution from many companies. We applaud Health Evolution for their efforts and are thrilled that MetaCX has an opportunity to collaborate with health care leaders on important advancements in the industry.”
